Plastil UK specialises in the production of tambour doors, supplying customers throughout the world with complete systems (shutters, tracking, terminals, handles and locks) tailored to specific requirements. Since 1991 Plastil UK has literally produced millions of metres of tambour slat profiles.

- we can offer you a solution, whether you need a side-opening or a vertical-opening system, in double or single doors.
- we manufacture a wide range of bespoke tambour systems, for office, kitchen, home, caravan/motorhome, whichever your application.
- our vertical-opening cartridge system was developed to be compatible with standard and bespoke cabinet carcasses, for cabinets up to 1500mm high, 1200mm wide with a least 260mm usable depth.

Our PVC shutters are made in our Telford factory in White 02, Grey 314, Anthracyte 3882, Silver 5316 or Black 09.
Specific colour development on request. If you need PP shuttters, we can have them manufactured and delivered from Plastil Group in France. Please contact us.

+ our easy glide track: a full range is available to match your cabinet
+ our terminal slat: a PVC cover slat with steel reinforcement
+ accessories : magnet, recessed or surface mounted handles, 1-point or 2-point lock with foldable key
Can be supplied fully assembled, ready to fit straight in your cabinet.

Plastil tambour door profile
Since its beginning, Plastil has built its commercial success thanks to its range of tambour door slats. The 1st patent was registered in the 70s. Since then, over 100 different references and 5 industrial patents have been granted to Plastil. Simple in appearance, the hinge slat profile is actually a complex product which has constantly evolved.
A flat-screen tambour door
Plastil also offers a high value “Flat-Screen” tambour door, presenting an absolutely flat external surface with no compromise to durability or rigidity. It can be printed in any colour of your choice. Alternatively, it can be completely or partially covered with images, logos etc.
